Detailed Call Description
The proposal must cover the following 3 phases approach:
The evaluation will consider the coherence between the quality of the proposed activities and the funds requested for performing it.
Financing percentage by EU or other bodies / Level of Subsidy or Loan
The maximum grant amount of financial support per selected project is up to €300.000.
The maximum grant per country is described on pages 30 – 32 of the Guide for Applicants.
Eligibility For Participation Notes
In the CLIMAAX 2nd Open Call, applications concern individuals from:
- Public bodies (including regional and local authorities, municipalities, as well as public agencies) with a mandate or responsibility to develop climate-related multi-risk assessments and risk management plans in a given region or community. Their mandate has to be demonstrated via an official document (bill or regulation, Service Charter, Decree, Statutes or the like) either publicly available or attached to the application.;
- Non-profit legal entities representing a local/regional community of people with social ties, shared values or interests, engaged in joint action developing their activities in areas with vulnerability to climate change impacts and challenged by climate change adaptation. The mandate of the applicant has to be demonstrated via an official document (Service Charter, Statutes or the like) either publicly available or attached to the application.
The entities have to be established in any:
- EU Member States and its Overseas Countries and Territories or
- Horizon Europe Associated Countries, and
Applicants cannot be affected by any EU restrictive measures.
CLIMAAX partners, their affiliates or employees cannot submit an application and are NOT eligible to act as subcontracted external service providers.
The priority will be to support less developed regions that are most vulnerable to climate change impacts and often have low adaptive capacity.
